Community Support Services is a private, nonprofit agency that initiates, provides and promotes services for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families, within their communities, in order to strengthen their independence, self-esteem, and ability to participate in and contribute to community life.

Wally Warachowski and Tony Lovett of Knights of Columbus of Brookfield #15943 proudly presented a check for $1,507 to Nicole Omahen and Michelle Jimenez of Community Support Services (CSS.) Money raised through the K of C Tootsie Roll Drive earlier this year will support services for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities such as Down syndrome, autism and cerebral palsy.

CSS participants’ were joined by CSS parents, board members and supporters who all enjoyed a night of painting at CSS Academy. Everyone painted a fall-themed piece of artwork. A great night was had by all!

CSS is honored to be a part of La Grange Gives again this year. CSS, and other local nonprofits, are partnering with La Grange restaurants between Feb. 15th - 28th. Eat at any participating restaurant and present the attached flyer, and a portion of the proceeds with benefit CSS.
