Community Support Services’ new day program – Community360 – offers adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) activities where they choose meaningful ways to spend their day. Some activities include: structured volunteer work; creative classes in art, music and dance; activities of daily living; health and wellness classes; group exercise; classes structured around developing job skills and job searching; etc. Locations will include CSS’ Family Support Center (FSC) in Cicero and various community locations. The FSC is an intimate setting perfect for individuals who benefit from smaller groups, with more individualized attention and/or those with specific behavioral needs. There are also English and Spanish speaking staff to communicate with parents/guardians whose first language is Spanish. The program is based out of the FSC, with community based activities available. This is not a drop in program. Participation must be scheduled in advance.
